For all friendly matches involving a member club of Scottish Women’s Football, a permit must be obtained from Scottish Women’s Football before participating. Clubs applying for friendlies must complete the club friendly request a minimum of 5 days prior to the match taking place. SWF will review the details of the application and will approve or reject based on the information supplied.

Mixed youth age group vs Senior
Clubs in full membership may not be involved in a friendly match without the prior approval of SWF and may be liable to a sanction of up to £50.
Both teams participating in a friendly must have valid insurance to participate in the match.
A team that plays a non-registered team will invalidate their insurance.
Tournaments
Any organisation hosting a tournament for other clubs to participate in must complete the Tournament permit organiser form along with competition rules and insurance documents. Once this has been received and approved, all participating teams must complete the Tournament request form for participants.
If applying to compete in a tournament out with Scotland, clubs must request a tournament participant permit and supply SWF with a copy of the competition rules and a letter from the organisers FA sanctioning the event.
