Children only get one shot at childhood; and it is everyone’s responsibility to ensure that children and young people who play football are protected, feel safe, and have fun.
We truly value all our volunteers and officials who help provide wonderful opportunities for our girls and young women to play football, creating happy memories that will last a lifetime, and hopefully spark a continued love of the game.
We know that children and young people are vulnerable and can face enormous, and at times, serious challenges in their lives; that means we all need to do what we can to keep them safe.
It is also important to support the volunteers and officials who work with our young players, so they know what to do in difficult situations, and feel empowered to support our girls and young women.
Our Child Wellbeing and Protection Policy underpins the collective responsibility we all have in ensuring children and young people are free from harm when playing football and can thrive.
We also have a number of other policies designed to provide guidance and inform clubs, officials, parents, and players on best practices and we encourage everyone to make use of them:
