Tuesday night saw a fantastic match in Scone Park between the Under 13s and Forfar Farmington Foxes.U13 Scone Thistle v Forfar Farmington Stars

The Under 13s started quickly with Kirsty finding the net early on. Olivia, Layla and Millie were also on the score sheet in the first half as the Scone girls dominated possession, passing and moving very well.

Forfar came back strong in the second half, but the Scone girls resettled, and took control once again. Isla and Millie were rocks at the back from the start, tackling well and moving the ball forward, as did Layla and Erin as they were introduced.

Rosie was full of energy as ever, creating many goal scoring chances and coming very close herself. She did everything but score. Jodie slotted into the team controlling the ball well and passing confidently.

Kirsty led the line excellently, finding space and finishing very well, as did Olivia. Olivia also played very well up front, finding the net and also often moving wide left to create chances.

For most of the match Sadie ran the left wing and was an absolute joy to watch, as were her teammates. Sadie switched the ball from foot to foot, skipped past defenders and created a host of chances for others, finally getting her own goal late in the second half.

Lastly, Katherine, the debutant goalkeeper, kept a clean sheet and was fantastic any time the ball came near. Her positioning and handling were spot on, and she showed great bravery coming for the ball.

The Forfar Foxes played a great game, creating several chances themselves and played the ball quickly and accurately.

Well done all girls!
