“We knew that today’s game was going to be extremely tough as Hibs have a fantastic squad and are tipped to challenge for the League this year.
However, we are always confident at home, and had prepared really well for the game.
I thought we played very well in the first half, but could perhaps have had more composure in the final third. We were extremely well organised and our back 4 was outstanding today.
We knew Hibs would come out strongly in the second half but credit to our players, we kept our formation and thoroughly deserved to come away with a point.
We now turn our focus to next weekends Quarter Final against Spartans and will look to improve on last weeks defeat at Ainslie Park.

“I have mixed emotions after that, both disappointment and frustration. Disappointed with the result and frustrated with the performance.
The result was due to a combination of bad mistakes on our part and us not getting near them in the first half. Second half we changed the shape and made changes and looked better so I need to take responsibility in maybe not changing it sooner.
It’s our first loss against a team that was playing Prem football last year so we work on a few wee things that will improve us for next challenge against Hearts.

Scott Booth (Glasgow City) said:
“We’re delighted to take all three points today.
The girls worked really hard to ensure the victory.
Today we needed to dig in for the result and when that happens the fluid football we want to play can at times be affected.
We know we can be better, but it’s three points and another clean sheet. We are happy with the momentum we are building.”
City are back in action next Sunday at the Excelsior Stadium as they take on Glasgow Girls in the quarter final of the League Cup. Kick off is 2.30pm.
