Scottish Women’s Football noted that in the U19 National Performance League Cup Semi-Final between Celtic and Rangers on Sunday 3rd of June, Celtic allegedly breached the following competition rule:
Competition Rule 20(c): ‘Players can play in any team in their club, in their own age group or one age group above in all League and League Cup matches (note Cup-tied for a team if a player has already played, or been named a substitute, for another club or team, in any other League Competition, irrespective of age group.)’
The League Management Committee determined that the following rule was breached and the fixture be awarded 3-0 to Rangers.
The result and will be updated accordingly and Rangers will now face Hibernian in the final (date is TBC but no longer scheduled for 24th June due to National Camp). SWF acknowledges Celtic’s right to appeal.
