City, who secured the title midweek went ahead on 16 minutes after Clare Shine finished off a fine team move. Megan Foley added a second midway through the second half, before Colette Cavanagh pulled one back for the home side with seventeen minutes remaining.
However as Hibs were throwing everyone forward to try and get the equaliser, City capitalised on the break, with Jordan McLintock finishing past Jenna Fife in the Hibs net with two minutes left of normal time.
Commenting on the win, City Head Coach Scott Booth said, “It is great to maintain our 100% record in the league against tough opposition. I think the players yet again have answered any critics they have in terms of proving themselves as the best team in the League. We now fully turn our attention to Thursday and the Champions League.”
City face Brondby on Thursday in their massive 2nd leg last 16 tie in the Champions League. Kick off is 7.30pm at Petershill Park. Entry is £12.50 adults and £6.50 Under 16s.
