Forward Hannah Stewart becomes Scott Booth’s third signing for the new season as she makes the move from Aberdeen.
The forward, who turned 21 just before the New Year will initially go out on loan to newly promoted SWPL 1 side Forfar, before coming back to City in May.
After looking to bring Stewart in for the past couple of seasons, Scott Booth was delighted to finally get his target.
He said, “Hannah Stewart has been on our radar for some time now so we are glad to finally bring her to the club. Her direct attacking style coupled with strength and pace always asks questions of opposition defences. She will spend the first part of the season on loan to newly promoted Forfar while she finishes her academic studies before joining us in a few months time.”
On signing for City, Stewart said, “I’m delighted to get the chance to play for Glasgow City. I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead and playing with the best players in the country. It’s a great opportunity and I can’t wait to get started.”
