We have another great role to fill at Scottish Women’s Football – we need a dynamic and passionate Competitions & Administration Officer based at SWF offices in Glasgow. Closing date 22/12/16

ROLE TITLE: COMPETITIONS & ADMINISTRATION OFFICER (FULL TIME, PERMANENT)

RESPONSIBLE TO: EXECUTIVE OFFICER, SCOTTISH WOMEN’S FOOTBALL BOARD

LOCATION: HAMPDEN STADIUM,LETHERBY DRIVE, GLASGOW

ROLE DESCRIPTION: 

The job holder will coordinate the planning, preparation and implementation of all SWF competitions and programmes of competition. This is a key role for SWF and the job holder will also become the main contact for clubs requiring support from SWF.

Main duties:

  • In conjunction with relevant partners/staff to coordinate the planning, preparation and implementation of all key programmes of competition
  • To manage and maintain national club administration, registration systems and contact databases of all SWF clubs, players and officials
  • In conjunction with the Executive Officer, and relevant partners to review, improve and implement processes and procedures
  • Support the Executive Officer and SWF board and committees by preparing papers, recording minutes and actioning all relevant tasks
  • To manage all SWF enquiries and advise clubs, officials and players where appropriate, as well as signposting to other relevant personnel
  • To build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • To assist in project management of SWF events alongside other SWF staff and to be a key part of the events team
  • To manage the PVG and safeguarding process on behalf of SWF
  • To represent SWF at relevant meetings and committees as required

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree educated

EXPERIENCE:

 At least one year’s experience in a similar role. Sports industry experience is not required but would be beneficial

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

  • An excellent communicator
  • Confident dealing with a range of stakeholders on a day to day basis
