SWF’s new Commercial Partnership Manager gets to work

SWF is pleased to welcome newly appointed Commercial Partnership Manager, Sam O’Donnell, to its team.  This new post will be instrumental in driving forward SWF’s key priorities of generating new commercial opportunities and increasing revenue – both critical to growing the game.  Sam brings to SWF a wealth of knowledge and commercial experience, along with an impressive track-record having performed similar roles at both Arsenal FC and Northampton Saints.  

Welcoming Sam to the team CEO Aileen Campbell said:

“This is an exciting new development for SWF and demonstrates the ambitions we have to grow the game.  We know there is huge support for women’s football and a real appetite to support it.   With Sam dedicated to pursuing new commercial partnerships and increasing resources, this will be a game-changer for our organisation and the club game at all levels.”

Commenting on his new post, Sam O’Donnell said:

“I am hugely excited about the opportunity to make a significant and positive impact in women’s and girls’ football.  I intend to bring all my skills and experience to bear to develop new partnerships and really ensure we are realising the full potential of the game.  I am keen to hit the ground running and I’m really pleased to be working at SWF in this new role at what is an important juncture for the game.”
