Today we saw Dundee City take on East Fife who currently sit unbeaten at the top of SWFL1 North League.
The match started quite equal between both teams until East Fife scored to split the teams.
The rest of the first half saw the ball played mostly in the centre of the pitch.
City had a few breaks forward with balls played through East Fifes defence from Laura-Anne Johnston and a cross from Yasmin Anderson.
However the first half saw East Fife take the lead 0 – 3.
The second half came around and Dundee City again started a lot stronger and attacking in this half.
East Fife snatched another goal before Laura-Anne Johnston crossed the ball where Yasmin Anderson met the ball volleying it past the East Fife goalkeeper.
City managed to clinch another as our trialist played a great ball into our striker who saw her shot denied but Jayne Digby was ready and fired home another goal.
Unfortunately for City, East Fife grabbed another 3 goals in this half with the game finishing 2 – 7.
Full time – Dundee City 2 – 7 East Fife
(Jayne Digby, Yasmin Anderson)
