The match will be live streamed by Raith TV, available through their Facebook page, another example of the partnership links made between the Kirkcaldy clubs.

Whilst this anticipated coverage has generated considerable excitement for the Fife players, the other obvious beneficiaries are Buchan. Mark Forbes, Buchan Ladies Head Coach, commented.

“We are very pleased to be Raith Rovers Ladies opponents for their first live streamed match on Raith TV. It is events like this which will continue to raise the profile of the women’s game in Scotland.

Our families, friends and supporters who can’t make the 3 hour trip can now watch it online. I’m sure both teams will provide an entertaining and competitive match for everyone watching at Starks Park and at home.”

The last game between the teams was tight, a narrow 3-2 win for Raith, and another exciting game is surely on the cards.
