Inspiresport become Official Tours and Tournaments Partner of Scottish Women’s Football

Scottish Women’s Football (SWF) have announced inspiresport as a new sponsor, becoming their Official Tours and Tournaments Partner.
For over 14 years, inspiresport have provided young players with truly unique experiences and igniting their dreams through the power of sport. Their tailored sports development tours to the UK and Europe offer professional coaching at some of Europe’s top professional clubs and federations, including access to world class training facilities, stadium tours and fixtures against local opposition.
Head of Sales for inspiresport in Scotland, Jed McCabe, said: “It means so much to now be official partners with Scottish Women’s Football. We’re absolutely delighted. This is the missing part of the jigsaw.”
On top of this announcement, there have been a number of positive developments in recent weeks within Scottish Women’s Football, including qualification to the 2019 World Cup by the Scotland Women’s National Team.
“The timing is perfect” added Jed. “Our philosophy is we’re open to boys and girls of all abilities. Looking at the clubs that we work with exclusively and preferred, Valencia, Villarreal, PSV Eindhoven, FC Porto, and of course, our exclusive partnership with Manchester City, there are a lot of Scotland international players playing down there. It’s an ideal fit.”
SWF Interim Executive Officer, Lorna Cameron, said: “This partnership is fantastic. It’s come at a really good time for us and for inspiresport. The girls’ and women’s game is in a great place and there is lots of excitement around the sport. There are potentially lots of our members clubs that are already looking to sign up for a trip to France next year for the World Cup. The timing is perfect and we’re really looking forward to working with them going forward.”
Speaking about why inspiresport was a perfect partner for SWF, Lorna added: “We know that inspiresport already have established partnerships with similar organisations. The service and benefit that those teams and clubs have seen and received from them is second to none. We know they’ll be able to provide a fantastic service for our member clubs.”
“The feedback from our previous trips is incredible” said Jed. “What we pride ourselves in at inspiresport is taking as much pressure away from coaches, from parents, and from teachers. When our tours are away for a full day, it’s all structured.
“We’re giving girls and women the chance to one of the worlds’ top professional clubs, be coached by professional coaches, play matches against good quality opposition, a chance to meet the players, and then to attend a top professional match.
“We’re giving them life changing experiences. Not only in football but in life skills as well such as what professional players eat, how they should sleep. There is so much more to an inspiresport tour.”
