Inverness Caledonian Thistle WFC charged by SWF

Inverness Caledonian Thistle WFC will be fined and sanctioned by SWF following a ruling by the League Management Committee of the Championship and League One, after the club fielded an ineligible player in their Championship and League One Cup tie against Dryburgh Athletic on Sunday 30 October.

The player in question played in the match but was ineligible because she has played in another senior cup competition for another team.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle WFC have acknowledged breaching SWF rules and regulations by fielding the player.

SWF has imposed the following sanctions:

• The Club was reprimanded
• Inverness Caledonian Thistle’s Championship and League One quarter final match has been recorded as a 3-0 victory to Dryburgh Athletic.
• Inverness Caledonian Thistle WFC have been fined £100

Dryburgh Athletic will now be in the Championship and League One Cup semi-final draw.
