Rossvale WFC charged by SWF
Rossvale WFC will be fined and sanctioned by SWF following a ruling by the League Management Committee of the Championship and League One, after the club fielded an ineligible player in their ScottishPower National League Cup tie against Inverurie Loco Works on Sunday 4 October.
The player in question played in the match but was ineligible because she has played in another senior cup competition for another team this season, breaching SWF rules and regulations.
SWF has imposed the following sanctions:
- The Club was reprimanded
- Rossvale’s ScottishPower National League Cup Last 16 match has been recorded as a 3-0 victory to Inverurie Loco Works.
- Rossvale have been fined £100
Inverurie Locos will now play Stenhousemuir in the National League Cup quarter-final tie as drawn.
