For a player to take to the field of play with your club or Team the player must be Registered on the registrations system.
The new COMET system launched on the 18th of June and all registrations are now processed by the SFA.

Registering a player from another country
If you have a player who requires international clearance (eg they are born outwith Scotland, or their most recent playing club is outwith Scotland) you MUST follow the below steps for their registration to be approved.
Players Requiring International Clearance
– Clubs should provide the following to amateuritc@scottishfa.co.uk :
– • Player’s full name and DOB
– • Previous club and association
– • Scan (pdf format) of photo ID
– • Status of player at last club (amateur or professional)
The Player should be submitted Int on their COMET Registration.
