Eilidh Barbour and Jane McCarry announced as part of SWF Annual Awards Dinner
Scottish Women’s Football (SWF) has announced two famous faces to their line-up for the 2018 Annual Awards Dinner. Following this, tickets for the event on Saturday 17th November will go on sale tomorrow via the SWF website.
Eilidh Barbour, a footballer within the Scottish Women’s game and Sports Broadcaster with BBC Sport, BT Sport, and more, has been announced as the presenter for the evening. She will be joined by our After Dinner Speaker, Jane McCarry, well known for her role as Isa in Still Game.
Interim Executive Officer, Lorna Cameron, said, “We are thrilled to have Eilidh and Jane confirmed for the Awards Dinner. Both are extremely talented and experienced within their industries. We know that both will play a big part in making this a really enjoyable and first-class evening.”
“We want this to be a celebration for our members and an evening they won’t forget in years to come. With Eilidh and Jane on board, we’re on track for a fantastic night. We will have further special guests to announce in due course.”

“We have strived to make the evening as affordable as possible” added Lorna. “We really hope to see as many SWF members in attendance as possible for what should be a fantastic evening.”
*Soft drink and mocktail alternatives are available. Under 18’s are welcome to attend but they must be accompanied by an adult and SWF recommends a minimum age of 13 years old.
