SWF Statement – SWPL 2 league standings (11/10/2016)

A Statement From Scottish Women’s Football

You will have noted a change to the League Table for SWPL 2 that appeared on the SWF website on Friday 7th of October.

The League Management Committee made a decision to deduct Hutchison Vale three points after they fielded an ineligible player on August 21st in their 1-0 win against Heart of Midlothian. As a result, Hearts were awarded a 3-0 win.

Both the SWF and clubs were notified on Friday October 7th.

This decision is currently under appeal.
