Glasgow City go into the hat for the semi-finals of the Scottish Women’s Premier League Cup after a 2-0 win over Stirling Uni at the Excelsior Stadium.
A goal just before the stroke of half time from Irish international Noelle Murray put City in the driving seat, before substitute Hayley Lauder fired home off the underside of the bar to ensure a City win.
Glasgow City Head Coach, Scott Booth said, “The players worked hard today against a well organised and aggressive Stirling Uni side. A clean sheet, two excellently taken goals and a semi-final is a good days work.”
The draw for the semi-final will take place at Hampden this week.
