Celtic 4

(Pullar 3, Donaldson 62, McCulloch 75, Giard 89)

Forfar Farmington 1

The Hoops started the game strongly with some swift and confident passing movements, and they opened the scoring after just three minutes.

Keeva Keenan floated a ball to the back post for Sarah Ewens to challenge with the goalkeeper and after a deflection and a pass in the six-yard box, Nicole Pullar was there to tap the ball in from three yards out.

Celtic continued to dominate the game without being able to add to their tally, with Donaldson and Ross both coming close, but as the half drew to a close, Forfar grabbed an equaliser.

Awarded a penalty for a handball, Forfar’s initial spot-kick was saved by Gibson, but the follow-up was converted to make it 1-1 at half-time.

However, that equaliser didn’t knock Celtic off their rhythm, and they regained the lead on 62 minutes when Donaldson smashed the ball into the net.

And they extended their lead just over 10 minutes later when McCulloch powered the ball home from an Adams cross.

The scoring was completed when Giard fired home to set up a final appearance against Hibernian at the Falkirk Stadium on May 20.

CELTIC: Gibson, Keenan, Rafferty, Cavanagh, Clark (O’Neill), Adams, Ross, Pullar (Connor), Donaldson, Ewens (Giard).

Subs not used: Cunningham, McGonigle.
